Wilsons Promontory National Park
The southernmost point of the Australian mainland, Wilsons Promontory
(affectionately known to Victorians as 'the Prom') is arguably the most
loved national park in Victoria.
Its 130 km coastline is framed by granite headlands, mountains, forests
and fern gullies. Tidal River, 30 km inside the park boundary, is the
focus for tourism and recreation. The park contains the largest coastal
wilderness area in Victoria.

Shallow Inlet
Great beach for a walk, swim and great fishing.
Waratah Bay
Beautiful surf beach ideal for fishing and surfing or just taking in the
sun.
Yanakie Beach or Duck Point
Boat Ramp plus great spot for motor water sports or just to take a dip
or walk/stroll along.
Hourigan Camp Track
Takes you through a leafy track and through to Shallow Inlet. Ideal spot
to fish and swim
Foster and Fish Creek
Foster and Fish Creek are only 20 minutes away and have a range of shops
including supermarkets, fish shops (with local fish) vegetable market,
craft shops, Galleries, hotels, restaurants and cafes along with take
away foods. Golf course and pool in Foster
A little bit further along is Port Franklin, Port Welshpool, Toora, these
have Beaches, Piers, Hotels and Restaurants along with craft/nicknack
shops, galleries and more. Local Wineries and the Great Southern Rail
trail are only a short distance away.
